Those Who Live In Cages by Terry-Ann Adams is out in a few days from Jacana Media!

Those Who Live In Cages opens the door to the lives of five Coloured women facing life-changing challenges while trying to do the most important thing – survive another day in Eldorado Park in the south of Johannesburg.

Debut author Terry-Ann Adams shared a reading from the book on Twitter recently.

In the video, Adams explains why she made the decision to write the character, Bertha, in Afrikaans, and reads an intriguing extract.
