Pan Macmillan has shared a video of Shubnum Khan introducing her new book How I Accidentally Became a Global Stock Photo: And Other Strange And Wonderful Stories.

The book is described as part memoir, part travelogue and part love letter.

Khan says:

‘It takes you on a journey from my childhood as the youngest of four girls in an Indian Muslim house in Durban, and it talks about my dreams to travel the world and how for a long time I didn’t think any of that was going to happen.

‘But, once I tried to become brave and once I decided to step off the path, a lot of things happened. The book takes you on a journey of all these strange and wonderful adventures.’
