Paul Beatty, winner of the Man Booker Prize, was at Love Books in Johannesburg recently.

Beatty is an American author and an associate professor of writing at Columbia University. He won the National Book Critics Circle Award and the Man Booker Prize for his novel The Sellout in 2016, becoming the first writer from the United States to win the Booker.
