Sisonke Msimang’s first book, a memoir titled Always Another Country, will be out from Jonathan Ball Publishers in October.

Jonathan Ball won a fierce bidding battle to secure the rights to the book back in March.

Msimang gave her fans a first look at the cover on Facebook, and revealed she will be in Johannesburg (16 and 17 October 2017) and Cape Town (18 and 19 October 2017) to launch the book. Details on those events to follow over the next few days.

The book cover features recommendations from Yewande Omotoso, who calls it:
