Join author Karen Paolillo and multi-award-winning actor and animal advocate Peter Egan on World Hippo Day for the online launch of Hippos, a Mongoose and Me.

Living for more than three decades in the wilds of south-east Zimbabwe has provided author Paolillo with innumerable thrilling, terrifying, anxious and extraordinary experiences that she has encapsulated in the 21 stories that make up this book.

Her life with geologist husband, Jean-Roger, and all manner of wild animals, is never dull and draws us into the moment through her vivid storytelling.

Paolillo formed the Turgwe Hippo Trust and her supporters are from far and wide.

Paolillo will talk about her new book, the sequel to A Hippo Love Story, through a visual presentation.
