More about the book!
Penguin Random House and the Field Guides Association of Southern Africa invite you to a talk about Cuddle Me, Kill Me: A True Account of South Africa’s Captive Lion Breeding and Canned Hunting Industry.
Join author Richard Peirce as he discusses management and conservation issues and takes us through his investigative journey to evaluate the captive lion breeding industry in South Africa.
‘Some still try to make excuses for canned lion hunting, cub petting and walking with lions. Some claim they are ignorant of the dreadful fate that will befall thousands of lions and other predators every year. Their excuses are no longer valid. This book has told the truth.’ – Will Travers OBE, president of the Born Free Foundation.
Tickets are R50 per person. Free entry for Struik Nature Club members and FGASA members.
Please RSVP by 10 May and state ‘FGASA’ in the subject line and let us know if you are a Struik Nature member. Tickets will be emailed to you.
