Paolini is best known for Eragon, his popular fantasy novel about a young hero and the bond he forms with a beautiful blue dragon. The novel kick-started the internationally bestselling fantasy series the Inheritance Cycle, which became a global phenomenon, and concluded in 2011.

To Sleep in a Sea of Stars is an exciting departure for Paolini. This new book is an adventure on an intergalactic scale, where incredible events have world-shattering consequences. But it’s also a story of human strength in the face of adversity, where we follow an incredible protagonist on her awe-inspiring journey.
