Former NFL linebacker Emmanuel Acho started an online series to give white people a non-judgmental space to ask questions about race and racism.

He created ‘Uncomfortable Conversations with a Black Man’ as an educational tool at a time when the racial divide between white and Black Americans is at a peak.

In his new book, Uncomfortable Conversations with a Black Man, Acho takes on all the questions, large and small, insensitive and taboo, many white people are afraid to ask – yet which everyone needs the answers to, now more than ever.

With the same open-hearted generosity that has made his video series a phenomenon, Acho explains the vital core of such fraught concepts as white privilege, cultural appropriation, and ‘reverse racism’.
