Dangarembga is an acclaimed filmmaker, activist and author of Nervous Conditions – winner of the Commonwealth Writers’ Prize; The Book of Not; and This Mournable Body – shortlisted for the Booker Prize. She has just added the prestigious 2022 Windham–Campbell Prize to her many accolades.
