Cover reveal! Iman Rappetti’s new book Sermons of Soul will be published in August by Pan Macmillan

Sermons of Soul, the new book from Iman Rappetti, will be out in August from Pan Macmillan!

‘In Sermons of Soul Iman Rappetti shares the voices that play in her ear – ones that compel her to keep her light burning consistently in a tumultuous world.’ – Lebo Mashile

Rappetti launched her debut book, the memoir Becoming Iman, in 2018.

Sermons of Soul features the best-loved opening segments from Rappetti’s award-winning radio show, PowerTalk.

With each daily sermon, Rappetti sought to reach out to her listeners and give them something special before the day’s tough subjects unfolded on the programme. She wanted to create a moment for them to feel appreciated, thought of, challenged or cared for.

Reading Rappetti’s labour of love will remind you of important issues and, at the same time, it will both encourage and inspire you.

With illustrations by the talented writer and artist Shubnum Khan (who also illustrated Mohale Mashigo’s book Intruders).

Pan Macmillan publisher Andrea Nattrass said on Twitter: ‘Sermons of Soul by Iman Rappetti resonates far beyond her radio show in its relevance and wisdom and the self-development it promotes. And the artwork by Shubnum Khan is just gorgeous!’

Rappetti celebrated the new book on Twitter:
