Trevor Noah’s autobiography Born A Crime is putting South Africa on the map, for all the right reasons.

A few months ago, Microsoft founder and world’s richest man Bill Gates wrote a glowing review of Born A Crime for Time magazine, saying despite Noah’s tough upbringing, the book will ‘leave you laughing’. Gates put the book in his top five books for summer reading.

Just last night, Noah was announced as the winner of the Nielsen Booksellers Choice Award, a prize for South African booksellers’ favourite book.
