Penguin Random House South Africa has acquired the Hay House agency in South Africa.

Founded in 1984 by Louise L Hay, author of the bestsellers Heal Your Body and You Can Heal Your Life, Hay House publishes self help, inspirational and transformational books and products.

In line with our aim to grow the Penguin Random House portfolio of bestselling titles and expand our offering to our retail partners, we are excited to announce the acquisition of the Hay House agency in South Africa, effective 1 March 2018. Backlist will be supplied from 1 February 2018.

Hay House is one of the fastest-growing mind-body-spirit and transformational enterprises in the world, currently publishing approximately 300 books and 350 audio programmes by more than 130 authors. The areas covered by Hay House reflect an eclectic assortment of interests: self- improvement, mind-body-spirit, inspiration, health & healing, spirituality, diet, business, fiction, memoir, gifts & lifestyles, astrology, feng shui, children’s books, iphone apps, e-gift cards, and much, much more.

As a leading publisher in South Africa, Penguin Random House is dedicated to connecting its authors and their writing with readers everywhere, and will be building on the success of Hay House in South Africa with the support of dedicated teams with years of experience in the industry.
