Ryan Blumenthal spoke to John Maytham on CapeTalk recently about his book Autopsy: Life in the Trenches With a Forensic Pathologist in Africa.

In the book, Blumenthal discusses the lessons he learnt as a rookie forensic pathologist, as well as some of the most unusual cases he’s encountered.

The author starts by recalling the extraordinary incident in which he had to determine how one gunshot caused 10 bullet holes in one human body.
