Lidudumalingani’s Caine Prize-winning story ‘Memories We Lost’ translated into Spanish

María J López, an academic based at the University of Córdoba, Spain, has translated Lidudumalingani’s short story ‘Memories We Lost’ into Spanish for the Cuban-based journal Revolución y Cultura.

‘Memories We Lost’ won the 2016 Caine Prize for African Writing. The story is available to read in English here.

The Spanish version includes some beautiful original illustrations. To view the magazine, click on the link above. Lidudumalingani’s story is on page 70.
