Join Struik Nature for a RoomToGrow Kirstenbosch talk: Preserving the last of the Renosterveld
More about the book!
The Overberg’s Renosterveld is in deep trouble: with just 5 per cent remaining, this incredible biodiversity hotspot requires urgent attention and conservation action.
The Overberg Renosterveld Conservation Trust is using a novel approach, centred on partnering with landowners, to address this conundrum.
The recently launched book Field Guide to the Renosterveld of the Overberg has received an incredible welcome into the botanical and naturalist world and we hope it will inspire further interest and support for conserving our Renosterveld ecosystems.
In this talk, Odette Curtis-Scott will discuss the plight of Renosterveld, its extraordinary diversity and the challenging journey she took while developing and completing this book.
