Get blown away by James-Brent Styan and Anneleigh Jacobsen at this year’s Blown Away by Books Festival in Cape Town (11-14 Mar)
This week, you can come and meet two exciting LAPA authors at the Blown Away by Books Festival in Cape Town.
On Wednesday, 11 March, Izak de Vries will chat to crime writers Anneleigh Jacobsen, Corporation Games, and Tanya Farber, Blood on her hands: South Africa’s most notorious female killers (Jonathan Ball Publishers), about their books. One is fiction, one is the truth, both are chillingly real.
Then on Saturday, 14 March, James-Brent Styan will shine a light on current affairs when he talks to fellow authors about his book The Bosasa Billions: How the ANC Sold its Soul for Braaipacks, Booze and Bags of Cash.
‘A timely, thorough account of the Bosasa saga. The chronicle of the transition from freedom fighters to unscrupulous state captors is astonishing.’ – Pieter-Louis Myburgh, author of Gangster State
The festival takes place from 11–14 March 2020. All events are at Fish Hoek Library, with free entry.
