Don’t miss Angela Makholwa discussing the best of this year’s comedy fiction by women (17 June)
Angela Makholwa will be taking part in A Digital ThinkIn event featuring the best of this year’s comedy fiction by women!
Makholwa’s fourth novel, The Blessed Girl, published in the United Kingdom by Bloomsbury, was recently shortlisted for the prestigious Comedy Women in Print Prize.
Funny women, funny books. An evening with Helen Lederer, Emma Kennedy and Angela Makholwa.
The medicinal properties of laughter are well known and a worldwide study of over 18,000 people recently found that reading is the most restful activity any of us can do. Which makes this ThinkIn a highly potent therapy for us all right now. Join the judges from the Comedy Women in Print prize to discover and celebrate the funniest books written by women this year.
Makholwa will be chatting to Liz Moseley of Tortoise, Helen Lederer, the founder of the Comedy Women in Print Prize, and Emma Kennedy, a judge for this year’s prize, about the funniest books by women this year.
