Crochet and Conquer by Nadia de Kock and Hilda Steyn: 21 women tell their stories of how crochet saved their lives
More about the book!
Crochet and Conquer by Nadia de Kock and Hilda Steyn combines stories about healing with creative crochet projects. Each poignant personal account is accompanied by its own matching motif and project.
Twenty-one brave women open their hearts and tell their poignant stories of battle and eventual victory. The stories cover loss, work stress, depression, illness, the death of a child, as well as emotional and physical abuse.
We have designed a motif for each of the women’s stories and used them to make personal and household items.
Crochet and Conquer is the English translation of Hekel en word heel.
