Penguin Random House SA has shared a video of million-copy-bestselling author John Boyne introducing his new novel Earth.
Earth is an inescapably gritty story about one young man whose direction in life takes a vastly different turn than what he expected.
The book follows on from Boyne’s previous novel, Water, forming the first two in a planned sequence of four novellas.
‘Each of these four books explores the subject of abuse in different ways,’ Boyne says.
In Boyne’s powerful and unflinching new novel, a hugely talented footballer finds that his life of success might not be quite the one he wanted.
