Author and journalist Lerato Mogoatlhe sat down with Africa’s Lit to chat about her book Vagabond and her journeys in Africa.

Vagabond: Wandering Through Africa on Faith is published by BlackBird Books.

‘It’s about how a three-month trip to West Africa turns into living around the continent for five years, and how those five years essentially changed my life,’ Mogoatlhe says.

Vagabond is a love letter of Mogoatlhe’s discovery of herself, her home, Africa, and its people that readers will witness through her uncensored curiosity and with none of the glamour of a guidebook.
