An avid reader, President Ramaphosa shared his 2020 Christmas reading list in December, including The Lie of 1652: A Decolonised History of Land by Patric Tariq Mellet, The Longest March by Fred Khumalo, Time is Not the Measure: A Memoir by Vusi Mavimbela, The Pan-African Pantheon: Prophets, Poets and Philosophers edited by Adekeye Adebajo, and Blue Ocean Shift by W Chan Kim and Renée Mauborgne.
From that list, the National Reading Coalition selected The Longest March as the novel to discuss for January.
The session will be joined by popular Skeem Saam actor Cedric Anthony Fourie and by Randy Tsubane, an award-winning SABC Broadcaster.
They will share their experiences of the book and discuss their views with the participants in a facilitated session.
The Longest March by Fred Khumalo is available from bookstores countrywide and online!
