Jacana Media and the Ahmed Kathrada Foundation invite you to the launch of Marabastad to Mogadishu: The Journey of an ANC Soldier by Hassen Ebrahim.

From Marabastad to Mogadishu is an account of the life experiences of a South African of Indian descent who was fortunate enough to be a part of some of South Africa’s most important changes in the transition from apartheid to a constitutional democracy.

Hassen will be in conversation with foreign editor for Independent Media Shannon Ebrahim at the launch. The keynote address will be delivered by Minister of Public Enterprises Pravin Gordhan.
