Explore! Awesome South African Artists is illustrated by Lauren Mulligan, and with engaging prose and a colourful design, including illustrations of the artists’ most famous pieces, it will certainly keep kids entertained.

Come and hear how this book gives a glimpse into the lives of 44 of our celebrated artists, such as Nandipha Mntambo, William Kentridge and Santu Mofokeng, through short stories, illustrations and examples of their art works.

While the book is aimed at 9–15 year olds, it is also a way of accessing art and art-making for younger children and – grown-ups ones!
