The longlist for the 2017 Man Booker Prize for Fiction has been announced.

The 2017 longlist, or Man Booker ‘Dozen’, of 13 novels, is:

The United Kingdom and the United States again dominate this year’s longlist, with four writers apiece. No African authors have made the list this year, for only the sixth time since the Booker Prize longlists were first made public in 2001.
