Storytime! Don’t miss a live reading by children’s author Niki Daly for the Hermanus FynArts Festival
One for the kids! Niki Daly will be making a virtual appearance at the 2020 Hermanus FynArts Festival.
FynArts Select is a re-imagined and extended version of Hermanus FynArts Festival brought about by the current lockdown.
Daly is an award-winning author and illustrator of children’s books whose work has gained international recognition.
Ever since his two sons could sit on his lap, Daly has been reading to children in school halls, libraries, township book clubs, the Red Cross Children’s Hospital and anywhere else children gather to listen to his stories; stories about being a child in South Africa.
This is a very special opportunity for FynArts children to have a fine time with Daly.
Daly will be reading Thoko’s Favourite Soup on 13 June 2020 at 3pm.
This will be a live reading and emails for an invitation to join on Zoom must be sent to admin@hermanusfynarts.co.za.
The Thoko books are available from Jacana Media in Afrikaans, English, isiZulu and isiXhosa!
