Jonathan Ball Publishers and the Wits School of Education invite you to the launch of New Daughters of Africa, a new collection of writing edited by Margaret Busby.

Contributors Makhosazana Xaba and Phillippa Yaa de Villiers will be in conversation with Jennifer Platt of the Sunday Times at the launch.

Showcasing the work of more than 200 women writers of African descent, this major international collection celebrates their contributions to literature and international culture.

New Daughters of Africa is an extraordinary and vital anthology that illuminates the voices of black women writers of the 20th century.
