2019 Caine Prize for African Writing shortlist announced
The shortlist for the Caine Prize for African Writing has been announced, featuring writers from Cameroon, Ethiopia, Kenya and Nigeria.
The £10,000 prize was launched in 2000, and is awarded annually to an African writer of a short story published in English.
