At the start of a new year, the International Board on Books for Young People South Africa (IBBY SA) is looking to grow its membership numbers in South Africa.

IBBY prides itself on supporting South African children’s and youth reading projects so that all South African children experience the joys of reading.
More than ever it is of great importance that we work together towards the promotion of youth literacy in SA.
By joining IBBY SA and getting involved in our activities you support the growth of South African children’s and youth literature. Our book reviews, newsletters and book bashes keep you up to date with South African publications and reading initiatives for young people.
